Restaurant QR Ordering App

Project Overview

Zaika Restaurants wanted to eliminate paper menus and speed up ordering. We built a QR-code-based ordering system where customers scan a table QR code, browse the menu, and place orders directly — no app download required.

Key Features

• QR menu — customers scan and order from their own phone (web app, no download needed)
• Real-time kitchen dashboard — orders appear instantly on a KDS
• Table management — visual floor map with live order status per table
• Waiter app — React Native app for waiters to manage orders tableside
• Analytics dashboard — most ordered items, peak hours, revenue by day/week/month
• Online payment — pay at table via Razorpay UPI or card

Results

• Order processing time reduced from 8 minutes to 2 minutes
• Table turnover improved by 30%
• Rolled out across 4 restaurant locations in Rajasthan
